Using the Trash & Recovering Items

How the trash works and how to recover deleted items.

When you delete items in ReachHQ, they're moved to the Trash — a unified holding area organized by entity type. This gives you a safety net to recover accidentally deleted items.

What Goes to Trash

Restoring Items

  • Go to Trash in the sidebar.
  • Switch to the appropriate tab (Contacts, Cadences, etc.).
  • Click 'Restore' on individual items, or select multiple and use 'Bulk Restore'.
  • Restored items reappear in their original location.

Permanent Deletion

  • Only items in Trash can be permanently deleted.
  • Click 'Delete Permanently' and confirm by typing the item's name.
  • For bulk permanent delete, type 'DELETE' to confirm.
  • Use 'Empty Trash' to permanently delete ALL items across all tabs. You must type 'PERMANENTLY DELETE ALL' to confirm.
Warning

Permanent deletion is irreversible. Always use the 'Preview Deletion Impact' feature before permanently deleting items to understand what data will be lost.
