Deleting a sequence follows a safe two-step process: soft-delete (moves to Trash) and permanent delete.
Soft Delete (Move to Trash)
- The sequence is hidden from the main list but can be restored.
- If the sequence is used by RUNNING or PAUSED campaigns, deletion is blocked. You must stop those campaigns first.
- DRAFT and SCHEDULED campaigns referencing this sequence are automatically archived.
Permanent Delete
- Only soft-deleted sequences can be permanently deleted.
- Use the 'Preview Deletion Impact' feature to see what will be affected before proceeding.
- Permanent deletion removes the sequence and all its versions. This cannot be undone.
- Completed campaigns that used this sequence retain their analytics — the sequence reference becomes null.
Warning
You cannot delete a sequence that is actively used by RUNNING or PAUSED campaigns. Stop those campaigns first, then delete the sequence.
