What happens if I delete a contact that's in a running campaign?
The contact's active enrollment is stopped — the Temporal workflow is cancelled and no more emails will be sent. The enrollment status changes to STOPPED. Messages already sent are preserved.
Can I have the same contact in multiple groups?
Yes. A contact can belong to any number of groups simultaneously.
What's the difference between 'Do Not Contact' and 'Do Not Email'?
'Do Not Contact' is a flag on an existing contact that prevents them from being enrolled in campaigns. 'Do Not Email' is a separate suppression list — it contains email addresses that should never receive outreach, even if they're not in your contacts database.
Why did my email bounce?
Common causes: invalid email address, full mailbox, domain doesn't exist, or the recipient's server rejected the email. The contact's status is automatically updated to BOUNCED.
How accurate is open tracking?
Open tracking uses an invisible pixel. It's not 100% accurate because some email clients block images by default (like Apple Mail's privacy features). Actual opens may be higher than reported.
What happens to a contact when they unsubscribe?
The contact's status is updated to UNSUBSCRIBED, and an UNSUBSCRIBE event is recorded. The contact is automatically excluded from future campaign enrollments.
