Understanding Campaign Statuses

Every campaign has a status that indicates its current state. Understanding these statuses helps you manage your outreach effectively.

Campaign Status Lifecycle

Status Transitions

  • DRAFT → RUNNING: When you click 'Start Campaign'.
  • DRAFT → SCHEDULED: When you set a future schedule date.
  • SCHEDULED → RUNNING: When the scheduled time arrives.
  • RUNNING → PAUSED: When you click 'Pause'.
  • PAUSED → RUNNING: When you click 'Resume'.
  • RUNNING → COMPLETED: When all enrollments finish or you click 'Stop'.
  • PAUSED → COMPLETED: When you click 'Stop'.

Campaigns cannot be deleted — they are preserved for audit and analytics. Use the 'Stop' action to end a running campaign early.
