Campaigns are the core of ReachHQ. A campaign connects a cadence (your outreach sequence) with a set of contacts and a sender mailbox to deliver personalized emails at scale.
Campaign Creation Wizard (5 Steps)
Step 1: Campaign Details
- Name (required) — A unique name to identify your campaign.
- Description (optional, max 2000 characters) — Notes about the campaign's purpose.
Step 2: Select or Create a Cadence
Choose an existing published cadence or create a new one inline. The cadence defines the sequence of emails, wait periods, conditions, and tasks that each contact will go through.
Only published cadences (ACTIVE status) can be used in campaigns. If your cadence is still in DRAFT, you'll need to publish it first.
Step 3: Select Contacts
You have four ways to add contacts to your campaign:
- Contacts List — Search and select individual contacts from your database.
- Groups — Select entire contact groups (all members are enrolled).
- Add One — Quickly create a single new contact inline.
- Import CSV — Upload a CSV file to bulk-import contacts.
Exclusion toggles help you filter out unwanted contacts:
- Exclude Do Not Email — Automatically skip contacts marked as do-not-contact (default: ON).
- Skip Duplicates — Skip contacts with duplicate email addresses within this campaign (default: ON).
Step 4: Sending Options
- Sender Mailbox — Choose which connected mailbox sends the emails.
- Track Opens — Enable open tracking via pixel (default: ON).
- Track Clicks — Enable click tracking via URL rewrite (default: ON).
Step 5: Review & Launch
Review all your settings. You can go back to any step to make changes. Then choose 'Save as Draft' to finalize later, or 'Start Campaign' to launch immediately.
Once a campaign is started, you cannot change the cadence or enrolled contacts. Make sure everything is correct before launching.
