Active campaigns give you full control over execution. You can pause to temporarily halt outreach, resume to continue, or stop to end the campaign entirely.
Pausing a Campaign
When you pause a campaign, all active enrollment workflows are sent a pause signal. No new emails will be sent, and contacts waiting in a queue will remain there. The campaign status changes to PAUSED.
Resuming a Campaign
Resuming sends a resume signal to all paused enrollment workflows. They pick up exactly where they left off — if a contact was waiting for a step, they'll continue from that step.
Stopping a Campaign
Stopping a campaign is permanent — it cancels all Temporal workflows for active enrollments and sets the campaign status to COMPLETED. This action cannot be undone.
Stopping a campaign cancels all pending emails for enrolled contacts. Messages already sent are not affected. This action cannot be reversed.
